The Head of the Architecture Department

The Head of the Architecture Department performs the following functions:

  • Ensures the proper and regular functioning of the offices under their supervision.
  • Oversees the academic management of open specializations by ensuring the teaching of scheduled subjects and monitoring adherence to the planned timetables.
  • Supervises the organization of scheduled examinations within the specializations in accordance with the established calendar.
  • Ensures the conduct and proper organization of deliberations.
  • Co-signs study certificates and graduation diplomas alongside the Director of the Institute and the Rector of the University.
  • Approves academic transcripts.

Tasks:

  • Coordinate the activities of the training program team.
  • Propose the list of specializations covered by the program.
  • Suggest the opening or closure of specializations within the program.
  • Ensure the supervision of students in the first cycle.
  • Develop a method for implementing and monitoring internships.
  • Propose pedagogical measures to ensure the proper functioning of common cores in higher education first-cycle programs.

  • Propose measures to improve the training program for the specialty.
  • Promote and enhance mechanisms for the professional integration of graduates.
  • Suggest educational measures to ensure the smooth functioning of higher education specialties at the undergraduate level.

Tasks:

  • Lead the work of the training domain team.
  • Propose the educational program for the training pathways.
  • Prepare bridges between training pathways to allow for a progressive orientation of students.
  • Develop teaching methods compatible with the training objectives.
  • Organize the evaluation of training and teaching methods.
  • Ensure the consistency of pathways and provide feedback on the relevance or modification of training pathways.
  • Ensure the overall consistency of internships included in the training program.
  • Assist the department head in the pedagogical management of initial training.
